Below you will find the content areas that will be taught in the alternative learning classroom this school year. Below each content area you will find links to reading materials and/or websites that you can use at home to reinforce skills and support generalization.
Every attempt is made to embed the teaching of IEP goals in each unit, but if this is not possible, then IEP goals will be isolated from the content areas and will be taught in small group a minimum of once per week. Most IEP goals can be addressed in every unit and taught multiple times per week in a variety of ways. Keep in mind that study materials provided range from pre-k to eighth grade, so not every link provided will be developmentally appropriate for your student. |
